Tapestry Girls: An Unbiased Review
A tapestry can really take the white, cement block walls of your dorm room from cold to cozy. It adds atmosphere, is a nice splash of color, and will always provide you with the perfect background for your Instagram. So, I shopped Tapestry Girls to give one of their coveted tapestries a shot and complete my space.
To get started, I needed to pick out my perfect tapestry and let me tell you… they have hundreds. Some of their black and white tapestries are really chic (like the one pictured above), and some of their more colorful tapestries look really nice with a string of fairy lights.
I loved how easy it was to browse their online store. Not only did I get a tapestry, but I spent a few hundred bucks putting together an amazing room that highlights my personality. Tapestry Girls truly is a one-stop shop for online shopper that need to have the perfect accessories when decorating their room. In addition, to the Indian Black Tapestry, I also bought The Softy in light grey, the Girls Neon Sign and two Fluffy Black Pillows.
Delivery was quick! It only took 3 days for it all to get to me. And, it was almost Christmas so I was pretty impressed with how quickly they were able to ship. The first thing I noticed about the products was that it all looked exactly like the pictures. For me, that was my only concern because I do quite a bit of online shopping and I REALLY wanted it to look how it was shown on the website. Let me just say… soooooo cute!
The bedding was super comfy! I couldn’t get over how comfy it was to lay on. The Girls Neon Sign was the exact size and dimension that I was needing for my room and the pillows were perfect, too!
As for the tapestry, I can honestly say that I see why they are so sought after. The quality was amazing. It was not too heavy, and not too light and had these cute little strips to hang it. This was another awesome feature because tacks will leaves holes in your wall and tape… well, we all know tape does not work. I used velcro strips.
Velcro strips! Yes, velcro strips. Tapestry Girls doesn’t actually sell them but you can find them almost anywhere.
Velcro strips are often used to hang pictures without having to use any sort of nail, but they work just as well for tapestries. Just make sure they state on the package that they are “damage-free” so that you can make sure you are not going to take any paint off of your walls.
Overall, I couldn’t have been happier with my experience. Special thanks to Tapestry Girls Customer Service for the extra tips along my way!
